BESA Competence Assessment Standard Audit 2024

We are pleased to announce we have successfully completed our BESA Competence Assessment Standard Audit for 2024.

As a member of BESA we must meet industry compliance, regulatory, legal, and technical requirements to ensure we are working safely within the construction industry.

At the beginning of November we completed our BESA Management Review and our Senior Engineer Chris Jones completed the Technical Audit on one of our prestigious projects in Liverpool.

This week we have received the great news that we are accredited with BESA for another 3 years!

Big Thank you to Chris for leading the Technical Audit and showing the assessor why we are one of the best Commissioning companies in the industry. We retain our membership of being a part of the Elite BESA Community!

EndAwards 2024

At the end of last month we held our annual EndAwards, a wonderful evening to help celebrate our incredible team!

The evening was held at Haydock Racecourse and began with a 3-course meal before the awards ceremony took place. Awards were handed out for a variety of categories like Project of the year, Trainee of the Year as well as Documentation, Commissioning and Support Team Member of the Year.

We also introduced a new category for the awards, with our very own Jayne Williams taking the crown as the End Systems Personality of the Year, special thank you to Jayne for making everyone’s day in the office better!

We also can’t forget to mention our very own Ben Hardman who received the ‘Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T) Golden Boot’ after his spectacular performance in the Office vs Site Football Match

Overall, it was a great night spent with the team coming together and celebrating everything we’ve achieved so far with lots of laughs, an incredible live band and not to mention one very talented magician! P.s – We still can’t figure out how the cards got into his pocket!

Education Saves Lives

Last week we were fortunate enough to attend the annual AstraZeneca HSE awards ceremony.

We work tremendously hard year in and year out to contribute to a safe working environment in both our Head Office and Projects afar! Because of this, AstraZeneca invited us and other contractors to the event as an opportunity to thank everyone for their contributions to site safety culture for 2023.

We were presented with the Gold award for our standards! What an amazing achievement for the team.

Safe working will continue to be one of our core values here at ESL, after all, Education Saves Lives!

We hope to see you at the next annual award ceremony!
