What Does a Digital Content Creator Do?

Videography Expectations

Our Digital Content Creators are expected to record client training sessions and edit footage while working independently or with a small team. They may need to provide direction to the presenter and collaborate with other third parties on site to obtain all the footage required for a shoot. They’re also responsible for selecting, cleaning and suggesting innovation/upgrades for recording equipment.

The role does require travel and working away with the UK, and potential Europe depending upon project demands.

Social Media & Marketing Expectations

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Digital Content Creator will admin all social media channels, inclusive of:

  • Content Creation/Collation
  • Creation of Images/Graphics For Social Media Channels & Marketing Campaigns
  • Liaise With Business Development Manager to Strategise/Create Marketing Campaigns
  • Track Engagement Across All Social Media Channels

Videography

Videographer Experience Requirements

Videography

Our ideal Videographer should have experience of recording footage on a professional level, however, we can offer training if required. A background in cinematography, special effects or art direction is desirable would be advantageous. Ideally, the applicant should have a demo reel with examples of their work and creative style.

Social Media & Marketing

The ideal candidate will have experience of the admin of social media channels, and be able to demonstrate their understanding of audience engagement, as well as the tracking of analytics to show audience engagement. They should also be able to demo previous work, or work that relates to social media and marketing campaigns.

Education and Training Requirements

The ideal candidate should have experience of video production, social media admin and marketing in a professional setting. Qualifications up to degree level in video editing, screenwriting, media ethics and cinematography would also be beneficial, but not essential. Full training will be provided to the candidate via a structured task based timeline and ‘on-the-job’ training.
